Carrying on the tradition
Welcome to our family at Prime Time Meats
Owner Kenny Peereboom got an early start in the meat business working for his Uncle, Henry Vanden Akker at the Sussex Meat packing Company in New Jersey when he was just 15.
Kenny learned about hard work early on as the clean-up kid, and under his Uncle's guidance he was given more responsibility for the operation every year.
By 1996 Uncle Henry felt Kenny was ready to take over the reigns. As the new owner, Kenny decided it was time for a new name, and so Prime Time Meats came to be.
Kenny's father Art is a familiar face at Prime Time-always willing to come in and help out; as any customer will tell you, the family trait is a wide smile and cheerful disposition, one of the reasons customers keep coming back.
Now, Prime Time has started its next chapter with the opening of Prime Time Plaza. "We had outgrown our old location and our move to the new location will allow us to expand our offerings, and better serve our customers."
The Peereboom family includes Kenny and his wife Liza, with their three boys: Karter, Luke and Chase
