Prime Time Meats owner Kenny Peereboom got an early start in the meat business working for his Uncle Henry Vanden Akker at the Sussex Meat Packing Company in New Jersey when he was just fifteen-years-old.
Kenny learned about hard work early on as the clean-up kid and under his uncle’s guidance he was given more responsibility for the operations every year.
By 1996, Uncle Henry felt that Kenny was ready to take over the reins. As the new owner, Kenny decided that it was time for a new name, and so Prime Time Meats came to be.
Kenny’s father, Art, is a familiar face at Prime Time — always willing to come in and help out. As any customer will tell you, the family trait is a wide smile and cheerful disposition… one of the reasons as to why customers keep coming back.
